A 30th Birthday Party

IMG_2632This past weekend we celebrated my husband Jon’s 30th birthday party. We cooked some yummy (trust me, it was!) Indian food and for dessert, we feasted on an amaaaaaazing Nutella mille crepe cake thanks to Eddie from Cake Tella. We enjoyed great food and even better company so much that I forgot to take enough photos. But here are a few snapshots from the evening:

After dinner, we talked and talked. Jon suprised everyone by presenting each of us with a handwritten card. Inside, a note of thanks for what we’ve taught him over the years and for how we’ve impacted his life. Needless to say, this was followed by many hugs (and a few stifled tears). Later, his sister and I performed a song together.

Next up, present time!

The Presents{And many, many more thoughtful gifts}

It was an absolutely lovely day! Thank you to everyone who came. We enjoyed your presence and feel so lucky to have you in our lives.
