Review: Diorskin Nude Skin-Glowing Makeup SPF 15

Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating Makeup contains 40% Active Mineralized water and offers a fresh and hydrating finish.

When it comes to luxurious packaging, The Diorskin Nude more than satisfies. However, the glass bottle does add a lot of weight making it less travel friendly. On the upside, the pump works very well in dispensing the right amount of product needed.

Despite it being on the expensive side ( I purchased mine from Changi Airport at SGD 62), I honestly think that the quality of the product justifies the price. The texture of the foundation is very light, almost weightless, and feels extremely smooth. Blending the foundation onto the skin is a breeze but you do have to work rather quickly to avoid it drying up. The foundation gives a semi-matte, dewy finish. True to its name, it also gives a healthy glow to the skin creating a flawless, beautiful effect.

Application Method:

  1. Prime your face with a primer base (optional) after the application of your sunblock (this is a must ladies!)
  2. Pump approximately 1 to 1.5 pumps of the foundation on the back of your hand (this depends on the type of coverage you are after)
  3. You may use your finger, the beauty blender or your foundation brush to apply the foundation
  4. I finish off with some loose powder to set the foundation (optional)

Below are the 16 shades offered in this range of foundation. I’m using the Ivory 010 shade.

If you prefer high coverage foundations, this may not be a good option for you as it only provides light to medium coverage. However, if you’re after a foundation which allows the skin to show through, this is definitely a winner.

I will definitely be repurchasing this foundation and would recommend it to those with relatively clear skin looking to just even out minor imperfections and discolourations. Once set, this foundation held up really well throughout the day and did not leave my skin feeling oily. Even though I have normal to combination skin type, oxidization of the product was barely visible making it suitable for most skin types.

I simply love this foundation and think its great for both daily use and special occasions because of its beautiful, natural finish. I currently alternate between my Chanel CC cream, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua and YSL Touche Eclat foundation.
